Study
The study is Sir Gerald's favourite place to retire away from the ladies of the house. Here he is surrounded by his books and other mementoes of his present hobbies and past activities. In his younger days, Sir Gerald enjoyed exploring "Darkest Africa" and big game hunting, as may be seen by the maps stuffed into the book case drawers, the gun cabinet in the left corner and the stuffed and mounted lion's head on the wall. He now enjoys less hectic interests such as stamp collecting, reading, model ship building and a good game of chess against Captain Humphries; with a well supplied grog shelf and table with his cigars and pipe nearby.
