The Debutante
This young lady is attending a ball during her London "Season" during the late 1870's. For the occasion, she has been allowed to wear her mother's diamond necklace.
He gown is of blue dupion silk, with a pink lace frill around the bottom. Her train is of matching pink lace. Pink embroidery from the lace decorates the skirt and bodice. Her sleeves and side skirt detail is of blue organdie.
Handmade pink Fimo roses decorate her gown and her light brown hair. Tiny pearls are also entwined in her intricate hairstyle.
She carries a tiny reticule which is trimmed to match her gown.
