Venetian Carnival Couple
This pair was made during a lovely day at Diane Yunnie's house.
Diane poured us each a pair of dolls in which porcelain, for us to decorate as we pleased.
I chose a black and gold colour scheme:
Milady wears a black dupione silk dress over a gold and black brocade petticoat. The broad lace on her dress is white torchon lace, which I spray -painted gold. Her jewellery consists of a gold and emerald necklace and bracelet. She also carries a black lace fan
Milord wears a matching 17th Century style suit with a tricorn hat, white stockings and leather shoes. He holds a long walking stick.
Both carry white Fimo masks on sticks and wear white viscose wigs
These were really fun to make - no rules to follow on the appropriateness of their clothes!
