Titania - Fantasy Medieval Queen
Titania was dressed using Dana Burtons patterns for Nissa - Queen of Camelot. She is one of the dolls I have played with while visiting Dragons Peak Park in the Natal Drakensberg while my husband cycles off into the distance, to be rained on and attacked by baboons and lightening! Much safer in the cabin!
I used blue dupion silk for the skirt and lower drapes on the sleeves, sapphire blue velvet for the bodice and sleeve puffs and embroidered ribbon for the "corslet".
The sleeve drapes and hem are enhanced with mother-of-pearl glitter. The long, tight under sleeves are 100% cotton lace.
Her pale blonde wig was made using a combination of my favourite "Donut" method and long, loose curls.
For me, Titania spells R O M A N C E
